舞踏家・南阿豆と、ダンサー・振付家の水越朋による共同企画。

2025年12月には新作『そこに生きる記憶の遺跡』で、ヨーロッパツアー（パリ・ケルン）を予定しています。それに先立ち、新作公演に向けたワークインプログレスを開催します。

『そこに生きる記憶の遺跡』

演出・振付・美術・出演：南阿豆、水越朋

〜身体に刻まれた“生きる記憶”をたどる旅へ〜

テーマは「身体に残された記憶」です。

言葉になる前の感情や体験、文化や歴史の積み重ね、見えない痛みや喜び―

長い時間を経て多くの経験が、無意識のうちに身体に深く刻まれています。

本作では、舞踏とダンスという異なる身体性の交差を通して、

その深層に眠る“記憶の遺跡”を掘り起こします。

それは過去を振り返るだけではなく、「今をどう生きるか」「これからどう在りたいか」という、未来へと続く身体を構築する試みでもあります。

作品内では舞台美術として古着―誰かの痕跡をまとう素材―を取り入れ、異なる国の歴史や文化、時代や言葉を超えて響き合う、記憶への新しいアプローチを探ります。

ーA journey tracing the “memories of life” etched into the bodyー

The theme is “Memories Left in the Body.”

Emotions and experiences before they become words, layers of culture and history, unseen pain and joy—

Over long periods, countless experiences become deeply etched into the body unconsciously.

This work excavates the “ruins of memory” slumbering in these depths

through the intersection of different physicalities: Butoh and dance.

It is not merely a reflection on the past, but also an attempt to construct a body that extends into the future—one that asks “How should we live now?” and “How do we wish to be from here on?”

Within the work, vintage clothing—materials bearing someone else's traces—is incorporated as stage design. This explores a new approach to memory, one that resonates across the histories, cultures, eras, and languages of different countries.
